The message is Simple, the impact is BIG!

People of all ages witness bullying every day. The Pink Shirt Day Campaign helps them find the courage to speak up and BE KINDER to others.

We want to help, but often don’t know how. We want to support others an end bullying by being more than a bystander and a witness when we see bullying happening!

On February 28th, we will take a stand against Bullying! Wear your pink shirt and together we will end bullying in our community!

Pink Shirt Day T-Shirts and Toques are on sale at Boys and Girls Club of Kingston & Area West End at the Frontenac Mall and central Hub and the Robert Meek community youth centre on Barrie street and at your local Kawartha Credit Union Branches.

TIPS for Children. Teach your kids the 5 bystander tips:

  1. Tell a trusted adult, like a family member, teacher or coach.
  2. Help the person being bullied get away from the situation.
  3. Be a friend to the person being bullied.
  4. Set a good example. Do not bully others.
  5. Don’t give bullying an audience.

– All proceeds from the sale of Pink Shirt Day T-shirts support the child and youth programming at the Boys and Girls club of Kingston & Area where we live the values of the Pink Shirt Day initiative every day.

– Through our charitable mission and in our programming, we embody the values of speaking up and the empowerment of children and youth to become the kind and healthy people we know they can be.
