Cadets – Walking Out Dress

The entire cadet wing at the Royal Military College in Kingston has been confined to barracks and some of them have gone to a Kingston lawyer to try to fight their loss of privileges.

The cadets are being disciplined for wearing jeans when they’re in the community.  Jeans are not allowed under the rules for…walking out dress….the clothes they wear in the community.

The dress code was identified as a major issue in the 2016 review of RMC ordered by Chief of Defense Staff, General Jonathan Vance.

Cadets will be confined to the campus until this Friday at 4:30…unless they’re successful in fighting the disciplinary action.
