Remember those summer days when Mom would buy bottles of soda, chips, candy and order a pizza. You’d run down to Blockbuster to rent your favourite NES game hoping it would still be there, then you and your friends would sit in front of the TV for 36 hours straight playing that game to get your money’s worth! Well, you can recreate them this summer!

For a limited time this summer you can get your hands on Nintendo’s NES Classic Edition, as it’s being re-released on June 29th! But make sure you act quickly, these will be released in limited quantities and only available until the end of the year (or while quantities last).

The NES Classic Edition is designed to look just like the original Nintendo gaming system, except that it’s smaller and you need an HDMI cable to connect to a television. It comes with 30 games already installed into the system so you can simply plug it in and play some of your old-school favorites. That means no more passing out because you were blowing too hard to get the cartridge working again. Just be careful about inviting that one friend you have that grabs the controller with their sticky Cheetos fingers.
