Aerosmith’s 'Dream On' Surpasses A Billion Streams On Spotify

Aerosmith surpassed the extreme milestone of a billion Spotify streams.

About writing it, Steven Tyler said, “I was seventeen or eighteen… It was just this little thing I was playing, and I never dreamed it would end up as a real song or anything… It’s about dreaming until your dreams come true.”

That was about 4 years before Aerosmith was even formed. He wrote the classic rock ballad sitting at a Steinway upright piano in the living room of Trow-Rico lodge in Sunapee New Hampshire.

The 1973 hit has since been inducted into the Grammy Hall Of Fame.
