Out Friday, Aug. 25, RoadAlice Cooper‘s 29th studio album. The 13-song set was produced by longtime collaborator Bob Ezrin and recorded with Cooper’s current road band.

Other than a cover of the Who’s “Magic Bus,” the concept of the album is life on the road and touring, on most of the tracks but particularly in “Welcome to the Show,”

Cooper’s road band includes guitarists Nita StraussTommy Henrikson and Ryan Roxie, bassist Chuck Garric and drummer Glen Sobel, most of whom have been playing with him for many years. Road is the follow-up to 2021’s Detroit Stories, which debuted at No. 5 on Billboard’s Top Rock Albums chart and won several Detroit Music Awards.

Road comes packaged with the DVD-Blu-ray Alice Cooper Live at Hellfest 2022, filmed at the annual hard rock festival in France. Cooper is, appropriately, on the road as Road is released, co-headlining the Freaks On Parade tour with Rob Zombie.
