Happy Birthday to Bob Dylan, the voice of his generation, who celebrates his 82nd birthday today (May 24th)!!! On June 2nd, Dylan will release the long-awaited soundtrack to his 2021 virtual Shadow Kingdom live concert. The set marks the first time the audio from the show has been officially issued and will be available in digital, CD and double-LP 12-inch vinyl formats. The full-length Shadow Kingdom feature film will also be available for download and rental on Tuesday, June 6th.

Out now is Bob Dylan’s Fragments – Time Out of Mind Sessions (1996-1997)The Bootleg Series Vol.17. The five-CD or 10-LP set includes a newly-remixed version of the Grammy Award winning 1997 Time Out Of Mind album by famed engineer Michael Brauer, accompanied by no less than three other discs of alternate versions, outtakes, live takes, and a bonus disc including previously released material from the critically acclaimed The Bootleg Series Vol. 8: Tell Tale Signs: Rare and Unreleased 1989–2006.

2022 saw the publication of Bob Dylan’s first new book in 18 years, titled, The Philosophy Of Modern Song. The non-fiction work follows his 2004 autobiography, Chronicles: Volume One and feature 60 essays featuring Dylan’s musings on other popular musicians — including Stephen FosterElvis CostelloHank Williams, and Nina Simone.

Dylan made history last year when sold his entire music publishing catalogue to Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG) for an estimated $400 million. The catalogue of over 600 songs spans a full 60 years up through Dylan’s most recent album, 2020’s Rough And Rowdy Ways.

In June 2020, Dylan released his 39th studio set — and first new album in eight years — titled Rough And Rowdy Ways.
