It’s no secret Led Zeppelin has never been the most inviting band about having their music appearing in movies or TV shows, but that wasn’t going to stop Director Richard Linklater and Jack Black when they were filming “School Of Rock”.

Jack Black says he had to ‘beg’ Led Zeppelin to allow “Immigrant Song” to be used in his classic movie School of Rock. It’s amazing to think if they said no, how any of the future generations would discover the need to get the Led out!

Black made his plea with a hilarious video, leading a theater full of extras in chanting “Lords of rock Led Zeppelin!  Grace us with your mighty love!” The band found it so funny that they gave their permission which we’re sure looking back on the success of the movie and the new generation of rockers it spawned, they’re glad they did.
