“Go wisely and slowly. Those who rush stumble and fall.” That’s Juliet’s main motto in life. She is a beautiful girl, of the Tosa breed, and has made huge strides since coming into the shelter, it has been a slow but successful process for her. She travelled many miles to get here and she was very excited to start on the road to recovery, eager to discover the joys of spoiled life and a proper family home. Juliet didn’t receive very much socialization, love and care in her previous home but we were so thrilled to see how quickly she seemed to warm up to us. She has a playful and curious nature that has helped her come out of her shell and given her the ability to gain the trust she really needed to feel comfortable spending time with people. Although someday she could learn to love children, right now she would do best in a home with no one under the age of 12. She is also looking for a home that can give her the space she needs so a house setting with a fenced in yard would be best for this sweet girl. Juliet has had many great interactions with the staff at the shelter and she is hoping to have a place in a loving home with a very calm environment. Juliet would also benefit from wearing a harness while on walks, as this can help her remain calm. Due to her previous circumstances, she would need a family who is also willing to work with her on her housetraining and other core training values that are unfamiliar to her.
