Kingston Mortgage Solutions’ Charity Shred-A-Thon

Kingston Mortgage Solutions is hosting its first Shred-A-Thon with Kwik Shred in support of The Tree of Hope campaign in Kingston!

They will be hosting a shred truck outside of their office on Friday November 8th from 2:00pm – 5:00pm and offering the entire Kingston community to bring any documents that they require shredding and the Kwik Shred truck will take it away and destroy it for the cost of a donation to Family and Children’s Servies’ Tree of Hope Campaign.

Tree of Hope has been running holiday appeals for more than a hundred years. Last year, the Tree of Hope helped almost 900 kids from across Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox and Addington with toys, clothing, baby gear and more. They raised a record $70,000. And with that money, they made a major investment in kids.

• They helped pay for the Campaign, including an urgent need for winter clothing last December.
• They sent a record number of kids to summer camps in July and August
• They supported families year-round with clothing, recreation, personal-items and more. They helped one family pay for funeral costs when their child passed away. And they supported another with travel costs to reunite their family.
