DOWNTOWN KINGSTON

Come celebrate Canada Day in Downtown Kingston! There’s fun to be had all day with the Limestone Mile, live music in Conderderation Park, People Parade, Civic Ceremony, fireworks and more!
Limestone Mile: 9:00am starting at Boucher Park
People Parade: 11:30am starting at Metro Parking Lot (Princess & Barrie) and continuing down Princess St.
Civic Ceremony: 12:00pm in front of City Hall
Live Music In Confederation Park: 1:00pm Lotus Shaker, 2:15pm Dead Root Revival, 3:30pm Oscar Evans Band, 4:45pm Still Standin’, 6:00pm Oakridge Ave, 7:30pm Trevor Walsh, 9:00pm The Wilderness
Fireworks: 10:00pm – Best view from Confederation Park!

 

GRASS CREEK PARK

Bounce, play and swim all Canada Day long at Grass Creek Park! From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., play your favourite carnival games, relax on the sandy beach, swim and enjoy free family fun with the City of Kingston. All activities take place rain or shine (unless severe weather is expected) and residents are advised to check the forecast and dress accordingly. Don’t forget to bring your lawn chair, hat, reusable water bottle and sunscreen!
Kite Fest: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Birds of Prey Educational Show by Canadian Raptor Conservancy: 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Ongoing Activities: Inflatables, Carnival games, DJ, Colouring mural, Improbable Escapes, Slime workshop by Playtrium, Face painting & glitter tattoos, Beach and sand sculptor, Food vendors, ATM and Utilities Kingston Water Buggy (bring your reusable water bottle).

 

VILLAGE OF BATH

* Due to the flooding in Centennial Park, all of the activities that would normally take place there on Canada Day
Vendor’s Market, Live Entertainment, Horse Drawn Wagon Rides, Firemen’s Foam a.k.a Bath Bubbles, Official Ceremonies, Welcome Booth, Displays etc. will be moving to the Park behind the Pickleball/Tennis Courts on Church Street.

The Parade: Starts at 1 pm from Finkle’s Shore Park, marching down Main Street to the Bath Public School on Church Street

Fireworks: Take place behind the Bath Fire Hall at dusk (10pm)

 

VILLAGE OF SYDENHAM

Join Sydenham’s Canada Day Parade: We’re looking for friends, families, organizations and individuals who will create and enter a float in this year’s parade. The floats can be big or small. They can advertise, celebrate a theme or idea, be entertaining, or educational, or funny: any or all of these. Use your imagination, duct tape and whatever else comes to hand to wow the parade watchers! There will be recognition awards for the top three: judging will take place at the Point park after the parade. Judges will be looking for imagination, effort and crowd pleasing qualities. Events: All Day BBQ and Canteen, Grand Parade Starting at the Fire Hall at 1 p.m., Children’s Petting Zoo, Children’s Games Pony Rides, Face Painting, Air Castle, Water Slide, Antique Cars, Live Music, Featuring: Red Rose Express, Jack and the Gang, and Friends from Sydenham High School.
Fireworks: Will be held at dusk, with a rain date of July 2nd

 

TOWNSHIP OF SOUTH FRONTENAC

Harrowsmith: Parade starts at 10am Harrowsmith Public School & ends at Centennial Park. For info: Dan 613-372-1910. After the parade, Canada Day celebrations continue at the Park. Bedford: Pancake Breakfast and Celebration with music, and fun activities for the whole family at the Glendower Hall, 1381 Westport Road near Godfrey from 8:30-11am. The Bedford Historical Centre will also be open for pubic viewing. For info: Donna 613-375-6765 or browndonnaearl@gmail.com

Storrington: Gerald Ball Memorial Park in Sunbury Starting at 1:30pm, events include soccer and horseshoe tournaments, canteen, face painting, petting zoo, live music and more. Fireworks at 9:45pm. Loughborough: Come out at 1pm to Sydenham Point and enjoy children’s activities, live music, face painting, and a Grand Parade. Stay for an amazing fireworks display at dusk. More information at sydenhamcanadaday.com

 

GREATER NAPANEE

Join us Canada Day morning at the Strathcona Paper Centre for our Emergency Services’ pancake breakfast.
The classic car show will be running from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. outside of the arena.
Beginning at 6:00 p.m., join us on the grass on the south side of the arena for live local music before fireworks!

8:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. – Trilogy
