AUGUST 31: The Furball 1000 Islands Sunset Cruise

The Furball 1000 Islands sunset cruise sets out at 6 pm for a two-hour cruise featuring a party with R-Banned playing Classic Rock with lots of dancing on the upper deck. Or sit on the lower or outer decks and enjoy the gorgeous river scenery float by. We take a close look around Hart Island & Boldt Castle. Free munchies, cash bar, and we welcome costumes, crazy hats or big fuzzy ears. Kids love this family-friendly adventure! Sponsored by the Rockport Boat Line. All proceeds go to the animals in our volunteer-run, no-kill shelter. Adults $25, kids 12 and under $12.

8am to 4pm
Registration $10 dash plaque for first 400 cars entered. Trophies awarded in 24 different classes. Admission to the public and parking free. Benefit KGH Melanoma Clinic. Food, music, prizes, raffles, and more
