August 13: Travel Writing Workshop

Do you dream of writing tantalizing tales of your travel adventures? There’s more to travel writing than just describing where you’ve been and what you’ve seen. In this 90-minute workshop, Linda Kenyon will show you how to craft a tightly constructed piece that will bring to life the places you’ve been and explore their significance. Come prepared to do some writing — bring pen and paper, your laptop, whatever works for you — and to share your work. The Travel Writing Workshop will take place at the Isabel Turner branch at 2 p.m. and is open to adults and new adults. There is no admission charge, but seating is limited. To avoid disappointment, please register in advance at https://calendar.kfpl.ca/ or by phone at (613) 549-8888) as of 9 a.m. on Saturday, August 3.
