Spearhead is proud to announce that they are hosting a four-day Comedy Fest at the brewery, featuring a star-studded lineup of local talent and big names.

The Brew-Ha-Ha -if you will- begins on June 12th and runs until Saturday, the 15th with showtimes starting at 7pm across the board.

Friday June 14th
Gala Show, Starring Jeff McEnery

Acton, Ontario’s Jeff McEnery burst onto the comedy scene by winning the prestigious “Tim Sims Encouragement Award”, “Yuk Yuk’s $25,000 Great
Canadian Laugh Off” and “Best Newcomer” at the Canadian Comedy Awards. Since then, Jeff has become a top headliner for Yuk Yuk’s and has made
multiple appearances at every major Canadian comedy festival including the “Just for Laughs Comedy Festival”, “Halifax Comedy Festival”, “Winnipeg Comedy Festival” and “Cottage Country Comedy Festival” in Muskoka. Jeff’s one-hour Comedy Now! stand up special was broadcast on CTV and The Comedy Network in the summer of 2011 and he has been featured on the shows George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight and etalk. He was nominated for “Best Male Stand Up” at the 2015 Canadian Comedy Awards.

Tim Steeves is one of Canada’s top comedic talents, both as a stand-up and comedy writer. He has written on two of Canada’s longest running comedy series — five seasons on This Hour Has 22 Minutes (CBC) and all 15 seasons on the Rick Mercer Report (CBC). Between the two shows, Tim has won four Gemini Awards and three Canadian Screen Awards for best comedic writing, as well as numerous Writers’ Guild Awards, Canadian Comedy Awards and an International Emmy Award nomination. Tim is a co-creator of the most viewed television comedy special in Canadian history, Talking to Americans, starring Rick Mercer.
