International Women’s Day: Fleetwood Mac

Fleetwood Mac owes much of their success as a band to the incredible talents of Christine McVie and Stevie Nicks. Both women are accomplished musicians, and are widely regarded as two of the strongest songwriters in rock. More than that, the pair are a testament to the power of female friendship. They stayed close throughout all the ups and downs of the band, the break ups, drugs, stress, and fame, supporting each other to this day...sticking to a pact they made at one of their first rehearsals, agreeing that they would never accept being treated as second class citizens in the music business.
