Samuel L. Jackson is the new voice of Amazon Alexa

Beginning in 2020, you’ll be able to wake up to the soothing sounds of Samuel L. Jackson’s voice.

The celebrity is the first to sign a deal of its kind with Amazon. But it’s not technically his voice; Amazon is virtually recreating Jackson’s voice, so its ability will be limited and won’t be available for all functions like grocery shopping, lists, etc.

Jackson’s voice rolls out in the new celebrity package in 2020. Alexa’s female voice will also be updated at the time. You can pre-order the Jackson voice later this year for 99 cents.
