Ontario’s (and one of Canada’s) biggest rock festivals won’t be happening, afterall…

Organizers pulled the plug on the first year of Roxodus Music Festival which was scheduled for next weekend near Barrie.

The festival included a laundry list of high profile rockers including Alice Cooper, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Kid Rock and Nickelback.

Organizers are blaming a wet start to the summer, rendering the festival grounds useless, as the reason for cancelling but at least one venue employee isn’t buying it.

As of this morning, there is still no word on when or whether tickets will be refunded.
