Caught on Camera

Kingston Police are searching for two individuals; one for theft, the other for fraud.

The second man stole from a Kingston department store earlier this month.

Anyone with information about either suspect, is asked to contact police.

Commuter Challenge Bet

The Commuter Challenge will have an added twist this year…

Mayor Bryan Paterson is challenging the city of Thunder Bay to see who can get more participants.

Kingston had the highest participation rate for 5 years, before Thunder Bay took the top spot last year.

Thunder Bay Mayor Bill Mauro accepted the friendly challenge. The losing city’s mayor will have to raise the other city’s flag and wear their t-shirt on June 17th

401 Traffic Cause

Apparently a dear is what started yesterday’s log jam on the 401. A car hit a dear around 5:20 yesterday morning, then a transport struck that vehicle and veered into the westbound lanes.

The accident closed the highway from County Road 6 to Highway 38 for roughly 3 hours, during the morning rush.
