Do you have a love of hound breeds? Are you ready for a life of adventure? Meet Floyd – this good looking boy was brought into the shelter as a stray. He is super sweet and friendly and would be okay with a first time owner. He might like agility or another activity and will definitely be an amazing running partner. Floyd is very vocal in his kennel and it is LOUD. Because of this, we have a restriction of absolutely no apartments or attached housing. Floyd’s new owner must have a detached house. Floyd also needs to be kept occupied and is very well behaved with a food-filled Kong or other enrichment toy. When he is bored, he barks incessantly. He would likely be fine with other dogs, and we will do a meet and greet before his final adoption. As with many hounds, he gulps his food quickly so you may want to monitor feeding times if other pets are in the home. Hounds are very fun and entertaining, and have a very friendly disposition. Floyd is ready to be spoiled rotten by his new owners. Are you ready to give Floyd his forever home?
