Looking for a sweet, gentleman? Meet Oscar! This beautifully handsome fella came upon the shelter as a stray in search of a home who will give him lots of love. He doesn’t like being confined in a cage or a room as he gets stressed out and wants to be where everyone else is. Once he’s allowed to roam the home he becomes a laid-back chilled little guy. He loves to lounge around most of the time and will play every so often. Oscar is a special boy who is on a specific diet that you can purchase through your family veterinarian. He’ll need to be on this diet unless the adopter’s family veterinarian determines otherwise. He gets stressed easily here at the shelter so he is available for adoption from his foster home to reduce the amount of stress. For him, our process is slightly different – before we bring Oscar back from foster for a visit with a potential adopter we will need to have an approved application first. He seems to be getting along ok with the dog in his foster home so we believe he would adjust well when given the time and patience to settle into his new forever home. If you are interested in this fella then drop by the shelter or give us a call and our adoptions staff will be able to give you more information about Oscar.
