Dave Grohl invited a 10-year-old boy onstage to play a cover version of Metallica’s Enter Sandman” on stage Friday night in Kansas City. Collier Cash Rule came up on stage, saying he was a Metallica fan who knew how to play “a lot of Metallica songs” and proceeded to play the main riff to “Enter Sandman,” with the band joining in for a verse and chorus.

He then played excerpts from “Welcome Home (Sanitarium)” and “Wherever I May Roam” before leaving the stage with the guitar given to him by the band as a gift.
