We all have at least one meat-a-tarian in our lives who just can’t get enough of those carnivorous delights and they are probably going to want to check out Benjamin’s Steakhouse In New York City and try their 8lb BMT sandwich but they are going to have to have the cash to back up their desires.

The Benjamin BMT isn’t your typical Bacon Meat and Tomato.   Ingredients include a one-pound burger patty, one pound of bacon, one pound of filet mignon, caramelized onions, two pounds of Rib-Eye steak, sun-dried heirloom tomatoes, two pounds of New York strip, melted cheese, and focaccia bread.

So how did they dream up something this outlandish?  Steakhouses in New York have been trying to one up each other for centuries whether it is by building their insane collection of vintage wines, having a menu full of outlandish and expensive entrees or just one signature Sammy.   Don’t book your same day flight now though, this sandwich is over the top but isn’t an impulse buy, the restaurant needs 72hrs notice to prepare your order.
