A guitar legend is headed out on tour with a pair of rock’s greatest singers and they’re coming to Canada.  Jeff Beck and Paul Rodgers will co-headline the “Stars Align” tour this summer and they’re bringing Ann Wilson of Heart along as the opening act.  Beck was a member of the Yardbirds before launching his own successful Jeff Beck Group, and Rodgers started as the singer of Free before forming Bad Company.  Wilson has been feuding with her sister Nancy which has put a halt to any Heart tour plans, so she will do the solo thing this year.  If you’re wondering about the Beck/Rodgers connection, the pair collaborated on Rodgers’ 1993 star-studded tribute to Muddy Waters, Muddy Water Blues.  Beck played  guitar on a cover of “I Just Want to Make Love to You.”  The “Stars Align” tour will hit the Budweiser Stage in Toronto on August 1st and tickets go on sale this Friday at 10am at www.ticketmaster.ca.
