Sometimes it’s hard to serve and protect.

New Hampshire police arrived to the scene of burning car to find the driver still inside.

For whatever reason, the man refused to leave his car, and emergency responders can’t help you if you tell them you don’t want it.

So the police got creative – they arrested him instead. They decided that the man was putting them at risk, so they slapped some handcuffs on him and got him out.

He has since been charged with DUI and possession of cocaine.

The story keeps getting more bizarre, as the man initially refused to leave his car, saying that he was a mechanic, and has since returned to the scene to take pictures and conduct his own investigation.

I’m sure as a mechanic he will do a better job investigating than the police will!
