Another week, another group of adds to my K-Rock playlist!

This week I’m doing something a little different, I’m going to highlight a track that I added a little while ago, before it’s shipped off of the playlist, just because I feel this one in particular needs a little more attention….

Oh and don’t worry, the holiday tunes will be out in full force next week.

SCOTT’S PICK OF THE WEEK

High On Fire- Snakes For The Divine

What. A. Monster.

High On Fire is the most important metal band today. I by no means say that term lightly, but it’s true. High On Fire is hitting all the right notes.

My first encounter with them was when I was driving my parent’s truck, it had satellite radio, so naturally I turned it to the metal station. One day I heard Frost Hammer and thought… man this music’s okay, but that voice. That voice kept me coming back.

I’ll be honest, they are a HARD band to digest at first, but stick to it and a whole new world will open up to you. They haven’t released a bad album yet.

I saw them live opening up for Abbath. Though the crowd wasn’t stellar, the music was unforgettable, and they closed with this track, with an unmistakable tone, voice, and talent, I can’t recommend this song enough.
