A Rolling Stones Weekend on Spotify

April 23, 1971 was a day of firsts for The Rolling Stones. They released their first album of the 70’s and first on their brand new record label.

It was the first release without any trace of late founder Brian Jones and the first with Mick Taylor as a fully-fledged band member.

But when it was released, all anyone wanted to talk about… was the cover. A man’s crotch, wearing jeans, with a working zipper.
