Brigadier General Al Meinzinger sent the formal apology to the Ontario Coalition of Rape Crisis Centres in February.  It took five months to issue the apology after award winning educator Julie Lalonde complained she was laughed at openly, subjected to cat calls and other disrespectful behaviour.  Lalonde had delivered four Saturday talks at RMCC last fall and says the cadets were the most hostile audience she has ever had.
Miezinger says staff is trying to identify the Cadets involved in the allegations.
