I was born in Toronto and grew up in the big city. I've lived in Kingston since 1977 and consider it to be my hometown.

My inspiration for getting into radio came from "underground" FM in the states. I went to school in Philadelphia for three years in the late sixties. It was during the early days of rock music. I had great experiences seeing artists like Janis Joplin, Iron Butterfly and Chicago at a club called the "Electric Circus". I got to see Hendrix at the Spectrum and during a festival headlined by the Steve Miller Band at Temple University. Philadelphia had the second "underground" FM station in U.S. It played all of that great music and I thought working for a station like that would be a dream.

Now, I'm living the dream! K-Rock isn't exactly "underground" but it plays my favourite music and working for the station is a blast.

I try to do my best with the news and appreciate feedback from people. It's especially good to hear from someone immediately after screwing something up on the air. Give it to me baby! I need to know the facts. Give me the facts. I'm hungry for the news - the K-Rock news - cause Tony's got the news - the K-Rock news!
