A Queen's University PhD candidate says his research has found Facebook and other social network sites may not help police with their investigations.  Danile Trottier of Queen's says Facebook and Twitter can complicate investigations by allowing anybody to share information - whether it's true or not - in a public forum.  He says it can have dangerous consequences, especially since nobody knows who else has access to the information.
