Storm damages area

People in Kingston have been busy cleaning up storm damage. 

The University Hospitals Kingston Foundation has received a major injection of cash...thanks to the employees of Hotel Dieu Hospital. 

A 10 year old boy in Picton has had his stolen bicycle replaced by an anonymous donor. 

Researchers at Queen's University are working on a method to determine how toxic those tar balls are from the Gulf of Mexico oil spill. 

The second phase of the environmental assessment for the third crossing of the Cataraqui River is underway. 

The home of an 84 year old woman on Loughborough Lake is under repair thanks to a local company and some inmates from Frontenac Institution. 

It doesn't happen often but Canadians looking skyward tonight could be in for a rare visual treat.

The OPP was busy in eastern Ontario during the holiday weekend. 

Construction might not get underway on Kingston's new track and field facility this year. 

The heat and humidity has prompted KFL&A Public Health to issue what's called a Level 1 Heat Alert. 

A 35 year old woman from Amherstview has been charged after the entrance to a condo unit was damaged by an SUV so badly it was declared unsafe.

Police are investigating after a woman from Toronto woman was hit by a boat near Sandbanks Provincial Park. 

A 21 year old man is in hospital in Picton with serious injuries after a head on crash in Prince Edward County on the weekend. 

The car-free Princess Street Promenade is being declared a success. 

There's more evidence that poor cancer patients are more likely to die prematurely than wealthier ones. 

Two boys have been arrested after a break in at Our Lady of Mount Carmel School in Amherstview. 

It's more than just a giant sidewalk sale.  Princess Street will be closed from Division Street to Ontario Street tomorrow. 

The federal health minister says the government will assess a Health Canada report that urges people cut their salt intake by at least a third.
