With a career spanning over twenty years and eight major-label releases, The Tea Party, composed of Jeff Martin, Jeff Burrows, and Stuart Chatwood, have successfully gained the attention of fans on a worldwide level, selling over 1.6 million records worldwide.
In addition, they have tour a countless number of times throughout Canada, the United States, Europe and Australia.  Much of the band’s success can be attributed to their phenomenal stage presence and impeccable artistry and musicianship with a wide variety of instruments and sound textures. 2015 marked the 20th anniversary of The Edges of Twilight, a monumental and fan favourite album.  The album, which reached double platinum status, was re-released in both deluxe remaster CD and LP.

In 2014, the band released its eighth album, The Ocean at the End.  The album comes ten years after their previous album.

On the writing process, Jeff Martin declares:  “It’s a rock n’ roll record.  We stared the writing process in Australia in Byron Bay, and songs line ‘Brazil’ and the ‘Cass Corridor’, ‘Submission’ and ‘The Water’s On Fire’ came out of that session,” he continues.  “But where things got really exciting for us was when we jammed in Windsor:  songs like ‘the 11th Hour’ and ‘The Line of Control’ came out and it was really rock n’ roll.  We were having fun and not over-thinking it anymore.

What do you guys want to do?  “Rock!  Okay, let’s go!”
