Annie is black and tan beagle mix, spayed, house-trained is MUCH deserving of a loving home and family.
Annie is eight years old but you’d never know it when out for a romp. She loves to run and play, and, true to her beagle nature, happy to sniff every smell that comes her way. When the playing is done, however, this sweetheart loves even more to come in close for cuddles, pets and soft whispers. She’d do wonders for a frazzled soul at the end of a long busy day, tucking in beside you, with loving gazes and all kinds of quiet affection and adoration. Annie’s a neat combination of stoic and silly … a special treat borne of her eight years on this planet.
Annie would be best-suited in a mature home and would very much prefer to be the only dog in your house and heart. She may get on with cats. She is great in the car and with some guidance and patience will be a star on leash walks as well.
Come meet this darling girl today. She will win your heart. To find out more on how you can adopt visit Kingston Humane Society at 1 Binnington Court or call (613)546-1291 |

Daisy is a two-year-old, spayed Australian Cattle Dog mix. She is a compact sweetie, with all the traits of the herding breed. Daisy would be suited for an active, pet-experienced family without children. Cattle Dogs are notoriously loyal to their family and excel at dog sports. However, they need to have a job to do and lots of mental stimulation along with exercise. Daisy has been a bit choosy with her canine companions here and isn't a good fit for the dog park at this point. A happy, active girl she LOVES her toys, especially her ball. Daisy has lots of energy and would be a great running or walking companion. She is a sharp-looking cutie, with a soft brown and white coat.

Sage is a four-month-old lab mix. She is a sweet-natured girlie who loves to cuddle. Sage came to the shelter as a little stray pup in early December and would so love a home in time for the holidays.
She is a bit timid but is so eager to please and once comfortable is quite outgoing. She seems good with other animals and should be fine with children. She still has a fair bit of growing to do and is full of energy, so perhaps best suited to a family with children over six. A gorgeous, lionesque dark orange tabby, Gracie is a striking and unique beauty. She is 3 1/2 years old, spayed and declawed.
Gracie is truly a special girl. She has been blind from birth due to cataracts and glaucoma. She will need eye drops daily for her entire life. Gracie needs a home with someone around much of the day. She needs a gentle, calm environment with no major upheavals or hectic events. She would be best as only animal in the house. Because of her blindness, Gracie needs time to adjust to new surroundings, she is very timid of the unknown. Gracie needs her humans to take their time with her, approach her slowly, allow her to get their scent and identify them. Once she is reassured she very much wants to nuzzle and snuggle. She loves kisses and playing with her toys and likes to sleep at the foot of the bed.
Gracie is a special girl and will need a special human to offer her regular companionship, support and reassurance. The rewards for this time and patience are limitless.
