Canada joins Australia, New Zealand and pretty much all of Northern Europe in the top ten list of Happiest Countries.

The World Happiness Report is being released today and ranked 156 countries by their happiness levels based on factors like life expectancy, social support and corruption.
Finland came out on top and was followed by last year’s first-place country, Norway. Denmark, Iceland, and Switzerland rounded out the top 5. The Netherlands landed at number 6, and Canada followed as the 7th happiest country (yay!). Following Canada in the top ten were New Zealand, Sweden and Australia.
This year’s report is the first to include immigrants, who were evaluated in 117 of the countries.
