All these years we’ve praised Stan Lee for creating some of the most popular superheroes of all time, and yet we missed the obvious fact that Stan himself, is the greatest Superhero of all.

The Marvel comic creator was rushed to hospital late last month after he’d reportedly been suffering from shortness to breath and an irregular heartbeat. The 95-year-old has had to cancel a string of appearances, including last years Salt Lake City and Big Apple Comic Con due to illness.

Fortunately, the mastermind behind such characters as Spider-Man, the Hulk, Doctor Strange, the Fantastic Four, Daredevil, Black Panther and the X-Men, among others, says he’s been released from hospital and is “on the mend.”

Stan took the time to reach out to his legions of fans through a YouTube video earlier today.

Fans are being asked to send messages, videos, and well wishes to let Stan know how much he and the Marvel universe means to you.
