Canada won it’s first medals at the Winter Olympics in men’s slopestyle.

Max Parrot won silver and Mark McMorris grabbed bronze.

North Bay’s Tyler Nicholson (pictured) finished 7th.

His second run score of 76.41 was his best in the three run final.

Nicholson also competes in the Big Air competition which starts February 20th.

17 year old American Redmond Gerard won gold.
