Somebody in Pennsylvania is apparently trying to freak people out before Stephen King’s It hits theaters this week. According to UPI, the Lititz Borough Police Department posted pictures to its Facebook page on Tuesday of red helium balloons tied to sewer grates. The department believes the balloons are related to the scary balloon-holding clown featured in the movie. “We give points for creativity,“ the post read. “But…we want the local prankster to know that we were completely terrified as we removed these balloons from the grates and we respectfully request they do not do that again.“ The post ends with the movie’s tagline, “You’ll float too.” Check out the full story here.
