CopperMeet Copper. He is a 5 month old hound mix in search of his forever home. He was surrendered into our care as his owners could no longer afford the needs of a puppy. He is a soft, wiggly and rambunctious pup. Being a puppy Copper is still working on his house training and would benefit from obedience school, we think with some hard work he would be the star of his class! He is still working on basic commands, like ‘sit’ and ‘stay’. He is a friendly guy who would love to meet new friends at the dog park. Copper would do well with a first time dog owner, however we would prefer him to not go to a home with toddlers due to his active puppy behaviour. His previous owner has also informed us that he lived with a cat, so upon proper introduction we think Copper would also do well with some feline companions. If you think your heart has an opening for a handsome, loving hound, come meet him today!
