ChampYou’ll see by Champ’s photo that there’s a lot of beagle to love, but we absolutely adore every pound of him! Champ came to us after the unfortunate passing of his owners, so as you can imagine, his whole life has been turned upside down. Champ is down on his luck, but we are confident that the right family will come and turn his life around. This 6 year old gent is a soft, sweet dog. He is easily handleable and will make a wonderful pet. Champ requires a slow introduction to a proper diet and exercise regimen, as you can see the big guy has some weight to lose. Champ likely would not enjoy trips to a dog park, as he can come on a little strong with other dogs at first. He was surrendered with a history of seperation anxiety, which can be worked with, but it will require a patient family. With some crate-training and socialization, we are confident this guy will settle in quickly. We are looking for an experienced family with no young ones under the age of 10 in the home. Big Champ is a happy-go-lucky guy who would love to relax on the couch with you and nap at the foot of your bed. If you think you’re the person to make this big beagle’s world right again, drop by the shelter for a visit today!
